In September 2000, the Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF) launched the Youth At Risk (YAR) Initiative. The Initiative was developed as a response to the need for collaboration and coordination among the 600 providers of services to at-risk youth in and around Essex County. |

Advocates for Youth is dedicated to creating programs and advocating for policies that help young people make informed and responsible decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. |
